This self-study course will prepare you for working as a NMH Support Professional in Higher Education, giving you the knowledge and skills required to effectively support students who have an Autism Spectrum Condition. Throughout the 7 modules, you will learn about the medical and social models of disability, the kinds of barriers autistic students face in Higher Education, how to use the SPELL framework, and the kinds of support roles you could provide. With tutor assessed work throughout, this course will give you the confidence you need to effectively support autistic learners and develop tailored strategies to help mitigate their difficulties.

Electronic Notetaking for Higher Education

Electronic Notetaking supports students with accessibility needs through Higher Education. This is comprehensive course begins with the basics of Electronic Notetaking and progresses to cover Specialist Electronic Notetaking with separate modules on Visual Impairment, Hearing Impariment and Multi-Sensory Impairment. The course concludes with a final module for students with other disabilities.
